(1915 - 1929) Crab Wiggler - #1800 Series
The Crab Wiggler was introduced in 1915. The oldest Wigglers had Cup hook rigging, "U" collars, Screw Eye Line Ties and were 3-3/4" in length. There were two version of the u-collar. The earliest u-collars has smaller script stamped on the collar front side. The latter version u-collar had much larger script stamped on the collar front side. It is unclear when Heddon started to use the later version of the u-collar. Heddon used the early u-collar on the all the way through 1922.
The next version of the collar was the "O" collar. It was called the o-collar because the collar went completely around the lure. The name was stamped on the front side of the collar and this style collar remained on the Wigglers till the end of this lure in 1929.

(1915 - 1941) Baby Crab Wiggler - #1900 Series
The Baby Crab Wiggler was introduced in 1915. The oldest Baby Wigglers had L-Hook Rig, "U" collars and variable line tie. The earliest u-collars has smaller script stamped on the collar front. The latter version u-collar had much larger script stamped on the collar and the name was on both sides. It is unclear when Heddon started to use the later version of the u-collar.
The next version of the collar was the "O" collar. It was called the o-collar because the collar went completely around the lure. The name was stamped on both side of the collar. The next and final change for the o-collar was that then no longer stamped the name on the collar. For both o-collar version's they used a single line tie that was secured to the body by using the same screw used to hold the center flange of the collar. The line tie now was moved to the bottom of the tail.
